WebP to JPG Converter
In short
Drop your WebP files in and get JPG files that open in every app. Transparent areas become white. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
Private by design: your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop one or more WebP images into the box, or click it.
- Keep the quality at 90 percent, or lower it for smaller files.
- Download each JPG, or all of them as a ZIP.
Why do I have a WebP file?
Many websites save images as WebP because it makes pages load faster. When you save such an image, you get a WebP file, and some older programs, printers and upload forms do not accept it. JPG works almost everywhere.
Good to know
- Transparent areas turn white in JPG. Use WebP to PNG if you need to keep transparency.
- Animated WebP files become a single still image (the first frame).
Questions
Will I lose quality?
A little, because JPG is lossy. At 90 percent it is very hard to notice.
What about animated WebP?
Only the first frame is saved as a JPG.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser does all the work on your device.
Can I keep transparency?
Not in JPG. Use WebP to PNG instead.
